WHT attorneys Max Smith and Ashley Brown obtained a defense verdict in favor of Louisville Mega Cavern in a jury trial on a wrongful death claim in Jefferson County. The plaintiff was participating in an activity in the cavern and had a medical emergency and later passed away. Plaintiff was asking for $60 million, $20 million each for pain and suffering, loss of consortium, and punitive damages. The jury found that the conduct of Louisville Mega Cavern was not a substantial factor in causing her tragic death.
