Ward, Hocker & Thornton, PLLC is pleased to announce that attorneys Chadwick A. Wells and Donnie J. Niehaus have been elected to become Members within the firm. The announcement was made at this year’s WHT Christmas Party on December 1, 2018.
Chad Wells has been with the firm since 2001 and has focused his practice on civil litigation. He has practiced at all levels of the trial and appellate courts of Kentucky. Chad has successfully handled a wide range of civil litigation matters, including personal injury litigation and insurance disputes. He is very involved in his community and has served on the Versailles-Midway-Woodford County Planning Commission since 2007. Chad received his law degree from the University of Kentucky, and his bachelor’s degree from Transylvania University.
Donnie Niehaus joined the firm in 2012 with a practice focusing solely on workers’ compensation defense and subrogation. His experience includes successfully handling the defense of workers’ compensation claims at final hearings and all appellate levels. He was a member of the 2016 Leadership Lexington Class and currently serves on the Alumni Steering Committee. He is also the President of the Board for Reading Camp, a Micah Legal Board Member and on the Commerce Lexington Ambassador Committee. Donnie received his JD and bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville.
