The 21st Workers’ Compensation Institute was held April 12-13 at the Marriott Griffin Gate in Lexington. The biennial event is attended by workers’ compensation attorneys from all over the state of Kentucky. WHT attorney, Whitney Mobley Kunjoo, served as a panelist at one of the sessions titled, “The New Practice Regulations and LMS”.
Whitney presented on a panel with Administrative Law Judge Stephanie Kinney and Plaintiff’s attorney, Chris Evensen. In the past year, the Kentucky Department of Workers’ Claims has transferred to an electronic filing system. The panel’s focus was on the amended statutes and regulations regarding the system, and practice points for utilizing the system.
