Cecilia Walton is an attorney in Ward, Hocker & Thornton’s Lexington Office. She graduated from Northern Kentucky University’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2024, where she actively participated in a variety of academic and extracurricular programs. While in law school, she was a participant in the 1L Oral Argument Competition, a member of the Kentucky Innocence Project Clinic, and served in the NKU Chase VITA Tax Clinic. Cecilia was also recognized with the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Contract Drafting in Spring 2024.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science with a minor in Spanish from Transylvania University. During her undergraduate years, she was a four-year member of the Women’s Varsity Soccer team, serving as team captain for one year. She was also a member of Chi Omega Fraternity and Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society. Cecilia brings her strong work ethic, leadership experience, and attention to detail to her representation of clients in insurance defense matters.
