Ward, Hocker & Thornton, PLLC attorney Jillian House organized the 2017 Kentucky Defense Counsel Spring Seminar. As Young Lawyers Section Chair, Jillian, along with her committee, planned this year’s topics and speakers. This full day seminar will be held at the Louisville Downtown Marriot beginning at 8:00 a.m. and continuing through 4:30 p.m. National speakers will present on the following topics:
- CSI and the use of forensic evidence in defense civil litigation
- Investigative techniques using advanced technology
- Social media law update
- A plaintiff’s perspective
- Trying cases around the state and ethical implications of different counties
Application for 6.0 CLE credits, including 2.0 ethics credits, has been applied for with the Kentucky Bar Association and Ohio Supreme Court. The program has been approved by the Indiana Commission on CLE for 6.0 CLE credits, including 2.0 ethics credits.
